TeamKasza is a formation of two Hungarian individuals, a sister and a brother, who believe, that creating visually appealing and useable products make people's life better.
Form and function. We try to refrain from formalistic approaches, which is designing only for the looks. Products need to be smart, their design need to support their function. We are looking for product concepts which serve a yet missing function and trying to improve already existing functionalities. If a product exists on the market, we try to see how that product could serve people better and at the same time we look for solutions for unanswered problems. In this sense we would like to invent new objects and challenge existing products.
Interactivity. People like to shape their environment, enjoy to influence the behaviour of the objects which surround them and out of this reason we keep this in mind through our designs. This is a generator for playful or even multifunctional products, but we always refrain from irrelevant functional combinations or post-rationalisation.
Sustainability. Vast quantities of waste materials are generated in the world which we try to incorporate in our thinking. Reusing waste products is very challenging as it may compromise the quality of the new product and diminish its timelessness. Out of this reason we rather believe in recycling, using waste materials in their unidentifiable forms.
We are by profession an architect and a landscape designer, who also creates plant sculptures as part of her landscape designs.
